Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Sales Engineer to join their Sales team.

From their modern premises our client provides first class sales and service support.

They are award winning and a Premier distributor who provide technical advice and field sales support to a large and diverse Industrial customer base, including major utilities, government and local authorities.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be selling and specifying new air compressors and associated equipment to existing, and new customers.

You will be responsible for developing your own territory and managing your own projects and installations. You will also be responsible for targeting and developing new customers after initial training period.

What do you want from me?

To be considered for this exciting Sales Engineer role, you will have previous experience as a Sales or Service Engineer with proven technical skills, a practical understanding of Compressed Air and Pneumatic principles.

The successful candidate will have gained practical experience in a sales or mechanical role within the compressed air industry. Ideally supported with qualifications and training up to ONC or HNC standard.

Knowledge of computer data login and system analysis, pneumatic circuitry, would be an advantage, although the successful candidate will be fully trained by our client.

Applicants should be self-motivated, with good selling and communication skills. You will have a personable character, smart appearance and a determination to succeed, as well as experience of liaising with customers in the sizing, specifying and sale of new equipment.

As the successful candidate will be required to visit clients, a current driving license is essential.
