Here at Simpson Dean Recruitment we know that a recruitment agency is only as good as the people it places. That’s why we invest time, energy and expertise in our candidates and their careers.
We’ve never understood why some recruitment agencies seem to spend so little time getting to know their candidates.
Whether you’re after perm or part-time, a contract or a career move, your dream job or just something to help cover the bills, our expert, friendly team will always take the time to understand you and your goals.
And because we know that the recruitment process can be difficult at times, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Getting to know you
When you first get in touch with us we’ll schedule at least a half an hour in-depth chat with one of our senior team, so we can understand, not just your experience, but your goals and ambitions too.
We know that you are more than the sum of the parts of your CV, which is why we want to get to know you as an individual.
That way we can make sure that any roles we recommend fit you to a T.
Anthony and Shelly of Simpson Dean have been such a tremendous help in assisting my new career path.
They were very genuine and cared about making sure I was placed for interviews that were appropriate for both myself and the employer. They also ensured they had as much information about me as a person as well as my qualifications and career expectations.
I greatly appreciated their help and sincere guidance and if I am ever looking for staff or seeking employment in the future I would be more than happy to discuss with them.
We’ll also ask you if you’d like to take a Belbin Team Dynamics analysis.
This is a psychometric assessment that a lot of companies use to gain a deeper understanding of their employees and how they best fit into teams.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to take the analysis if you don’t want to, but many of our candidates find that it’s a useful tool that gives them deeper insight into their preferences and personality.
Anthony is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I found him very engaging and he took the time to find out about me as a person before suggesting a suitable position for me. He gave me good advice and support throughout the recruitment process.
I would not hesitate in recommending him.
Whether you’re in a job and want a change, or you’re looking to come back into the job market after a break, we appreciate that your time is precious.
Because of this, we keep our registration process as painless as possible and make sure we’re available out of hours for phone calls if need be.
Our priority is getting you placed in a role that suits you, so we try to keep the red tape to a minimum.
Keeping in touch
We know from talking to our candidates that it drives them mad when recruitment agencies don’t get back to them. That’s why we make a commitment to come back to you the same or next working day, every time you get in touch. In fact, we aim to get back to you within four hours!
We’ll also make sure you get the right level of communication as you go through the interview process, giving you a full briefing beforehand, and a debrief afterwards.
And if you’re successful, we’ll also help with your salary and start date negotiations, so you can just relax and start looking forward to your new job.
Ongoing investment in your career
Because Simpson Dean Recruitment is all about building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, we offer all of our candidates free careers advice and a skills assessment.
It’s becoming more and more common for people to switch careers these days as we all work longer into retirement.
