An exciting new Electrical Engineer role has arisen within our client's business. We are seeking an experienced or newly qualified service technician to work within a professional and friendly environment to service concerts, festivals, tours and special events.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

• Circuit board engineering - repairing cable assemblies and circuitry
• Maintenance and fault-finding on equipment including moving lights, LED video screen, lighting consoles and power distribution units
• Maintain repair logs for equipment
• Book faulty equipment for repair
• Liaise with manufacturers & suppliers regarding problems and warranty repairs
• Soldering and using power tools

What if I don’t have all of the above experience?

An ideal candidate for this Electrical Engineer role will also be considered if you have transferable skills from the below sectors

The successful candidate for this Electrical Engineer role will apply their knowledge to supply events across the UK, Europe, and beyond. They will have experience working in a maintenance or repair role, either in workshop or on-site, and knowledge in electronics. Experience or knowledge of circuit board engineering will be essential for this role. Experience in entertainment and rental management software is desired but not essential, as the client is keen to hear from candidates with different backgrounds to see what they can bring to the role.
