c£45,000 per annum

Based in London

Full-Time/Permanent

An exciting new Health Safety Quality Environmental Manager role has arisen within our client's business. We are seeking an experienced individual to advise staff on all safety, health and welfare matters to ensure the company complies with its statutory obligations. The Health Safety Quality Environmental Manager will also be considered from sectors other than print.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

Manage and maintain ISO standards Liaise with the Facilities Manager to establish contractor health & safety procedures Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports and documents as required Carry out all risk assessments and special assessments for each site Conduct & carry out internal and compliance audits of all company sites; report on findings and manage issue log through to completion Conduct all “risk assessments” as required by legislation and are reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records Conduct/organise relevant health and safety training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace Advise staff members on all aspects of Health & Safety Overall responsibility and compliance of the Company’s H&S, making sure staff are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol. Elect and set up H&S representative meetings as per statutory requirements

The successful candidate for this Health Safety Quality Environmental Manager role should be able to hit the ground running, experience with ISO and Management systems are essential. This client operates within the print sector and would ideally like a candidate that understands this sector, however will consider talented individuals from other sectors. This client has been in business for over 50 years and takes great pride in their staff.

What do you want from me?

To be considered for this Health Safety Quality Environmental Manager role, you will need the following experience:

IT literate and a comprehensive understanding of Windows based programmes to include Word, Excel and Outlook is essential Strong teamwork skills are essential The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people, both on the phone and face-to-face ISO and management system experience standards is essential Previous experience in a similar role/environment is essential. NVQ,BSC or NEBOSH national diploma is advantagious Degree level educated is desirable but not essential Qualification in occupational health and safety or qualified by experience
