An exciting new Software Sales Rep role has arisen within our client's business. We are seeking a Software Sales Rep with proven experience of selling to retailers and brands. In this role the Software Sales Rep will be responsible for marketing and selling our clients innovative Marketing and Relationship Management (MRM) system.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

• Connecting and building relationships with customers to understand requirements through workshops, sales calls and conferences
• Solicit information about software needs from customers
• Construct sales pitches and presentations
• Prospect in areas where needs are identified
• Stay abreast of market trends
• Serve as a field customer service rep for clients who have questions or, difficulties.
• Demonstrate product features before a sale
• Perform problem solving to ensure the software is positioned as the solution to customers' needs
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of clients’ systems and processes to map to our software solution
• Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software and supporting systems
• Negotiate commercial agreements
• Respond to pre-qualification questionnaires or information to tender documents
• Liaise with the software delivery team to assist with demos or handover of clients for delivery post win

• Undertake any other duties and may be reasonably required

The successful candidate for this Software Sales Rep role should be able to oversee the complete sales process, researching and identifying new market opportunities to attract new clients. With the ability to quickly identify areas of value from customers requirements so the software solution can be positioned as fit for purpose.
