c£25,000 per annum

Based near Ashford

Full Time/Permanent

An exciting new Warehouse Operative has arisen within our client's business. We are seeking a licensed forklift driver to join the warehouse team, responsible for the storage and receipt of raw materials and dispatch of finished products.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

You will make sure customer orders are palletized and prepared, ready for loading, to meet strict deadlines for dispatch. Ensure picking of orders and loading/unloading of vehicles are executed to deadlines and ensure all documentation of incoming raw materials is recorded for traceability and intake checks. Maintaining correct storage for all raw materials including organic and all allergen products by segregation to prevent any cross contamination. Manage/maintain strict stock rotation, ensure all stock is correctly located, stored and recorded within the appropriate racking. Complete inspection of vehicles prior to use. Maintaining forklift trucks in good condition, with appropriate daily maintenance checks. Control inspection of all raw materials and packaging before release to production. Segregation into quarantine areas for non-conforming materials as directed by Technical Dept.

What if I don’t have all of the above experience?

An ideal candidate for this Warehouse Operative Role will possess a valid forklift license and the ability to work in a physically demanding role.
