An exciting new Electrical Service Engineer role has arisen within our client's business. We are seeking experienced and competent engineers who are looking for a new and exciting challenge. Our clients are well respected in CNC machine tool technology. They make reliable CNC machine tools with the most versatile control in the industry.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

• Installation of new machinery
• Identifying and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
• Fault diagnosis and reporting
• Working on CNC Machining Centres and Turning Centres
• Responding to service calls on a UK basis
• Repairing Machine Breakdowns
• Help Support Customers with Technical Issues
• Reporting directly to the Service Manager

The successful candidate for this Electrical Service Engineer role should be able to Install new machinery, be able to identify mechanical and electrical repairs. Prepare and perform complex fault diagnosis on different machines. You will be responsible for installations, service, repairs and breakdowns of equipment at customer sites for UK and Ireland based customers.

What do you want from me?

To be considered for this Electrical Service Engineer role, you will need the following experience:

HNC equivalent or higher Mechanical engineering experience Complex fault diagnosis experience Experience in mechanical and electrical repairs Machining tool experience Experience of CNC Machine Tool Service or Maintenance Conversant in a variety of CNC control systems and machine types Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland Good Communication Skills
