Our client is approaching an exciting period of growth and are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. The successful candidate for this Bookkeeper role should be able to hit the ground running, as you will hold primary responsibility of VAT Returns and bookkeeping for a range of clients.

What if I don’t have all of the above experience?

• Provide accounting services to clients accurately and to budget
• Prepare client’s VAT returns with a high level of technical understanding
• Respond to ad-hoc client requests
• Build solid relationships with clients and staff

The ideal candidate for this Bookkeeper position should be confident undertaking a variety of bookkeeping and accounting assignments, including VAT return preparation. You must be able to deliver within budget and to client expectations, and with a good degree of autonomy. This will be a varied role where you will perform bookkeeping function alongside other tasks, such as collating client’s records, inputting transactions to Sage50 and monitoring weekly cashflow.

What do you want from me?

To be considered for this Bookkeeper role, you will need the following experience:

• Experience within a practice environment is Essential
• Previous experience in bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Experience in Sage Line 50, Microsoft Excel & Word, Quick Books and other accounting software
• Excellent communication skills
