An exciting new Senior Consultant role has arisen within our client's marketing business. We are seeking someone who is very senior in the field, who has a proven history of both great results and excellent personal relationships with clients. This role is focused on the coffee market and requires someone with a good knowledge of the industry.
In terms of accounts, they are looking for someone to come in and take a key client facing role as well as ad hoc projects. Beyond this, there will be the opportunity to work on a number of category reports the division are planning to publish.
So, what could a normal day consist of?
Creating Quantitative questionnaires without extensive direction from senior staff Having a great knowledge of the best 'advance questioning' and techniques to meet each client's needs and continually build upon this Constantly contributing ideas and demonstrating your creativity to maintain an active role in project design Co-ordinate and manage junior staff/consultants so that they understand their role within the project Manage time well so that projects are run to schedule Work alongside the internal operations team to manage daily tasks such as quota set-up and management, data checking and delivery Investigate costs and ideas from third party suppliers so the requirements are met Commission for third party suppliers Liaise with fieldwork consultants and ensure that clients are kept up-to-date with all developmentsI like it, tell me more!
The successful candidate for this Senior Consultant role will have great experience with a branded coffee company, they will be passionate for different insights into techniques and research. This is a fantastic company who love to work as a team and come together one set day a week for drinks.
What do you want from me?
To be considered for this Senior Consultant position, you will need the following experience:
At least three years experience within quantitative market research Some experience in managing/ facilitating quantitative market research The ability to identify the key story within data and present this in either a PowerPoint report or a presentation The ability to work without constant supervision The ability to create strong relationships with clients based on knowledge of the market Building commercial awareness and some experience of proposal writing Effective line management skills Good numerical skills to translate data Experience of packages such as SPSS or Askia is preferable but not essentialYES, I'm definitely interested.
