Business Development Manager

c£30,000 per Annum + Bonuses

Based near High Wycombe

Full-time, Permanent role

Our client, a thriving I.T access company, is seeking an experienced and accomplished Business Development Manager to expand business. They are especially interested in people who have had experience in working with local authorities.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

  • Business to Business canvassing as an individual and as part of the team
  • Spend time in the office telephone canvassing
  • Make your own appointments
  • You will be responsible for keeping the ACT database of your area up to date, by inputting the details you obtain from telephoning and appointments, which will allow you to set reminders and target mail-outs.
  • Upon a successful sale you will be responsible to demonstrate the product on-site to the customer and look after and develop the account
  • You will be responsible for creating quotations, which will be typed, and accurately complete lease and company documentation. You may be given additional work by your Line Manager.
  • This position will suit a focused and strong sales individual who can prove a successful sales background and wishing to develop their career further in Field Sales.

The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager role will work from 09:00am to 17:00pm, Monday to Friday, although some degree of flexibility is required due to the nature of the business and the demands on the role.

To be considered for this exciting Business Development Manager position, you will need the following experience:

  • Previous direct sales experience would be preferable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good team player, but also have the ability to be able to work on own initiative
  • Be able to find new business to business leads and sell the right product/s into the end user Outgoing, confident, self-motivated person who has the desire to succeed and progress
